Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WealthMap ("the App"), published by Build Forward, the trading name of Ovidiu Dinu, a sole trader based in Ireland ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download or use the App.

1. Description of Service

WealthMap is a personal finance tracking application that allows you to manually record and monitor assets, liabilities, and net worth. The App fetches read-only market price data from third-party APIs to update portfolio valuations. The App does not connect to any bank, brokerage, exchange, or wallet. No financial transactions of any kind are processed through the App.

2. Not Financial, Tax, or Investment Advice

WealthMap is an informational and tracking tool only. Nothing in the App — including portfolio analytics, AI insights, Wealth Age scores, Wealth Score cards, What-If scenarios, projection charts, or Capital Gains Tax warnings — constitutes financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. These features provide computed estimates based on data you enter and should not be relied upon for financial decisions. Always consult a qualified financial advisor, tax professional, or legal advisor for advice specific to your circumstances.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The App is not directed at children under 16, consistent with the digital age of consent under the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Purchases

WealthMap offers the following purchase options, all managed and processed by Apple through your Apple ID:

• Free Trial: 7 days of full access to all features. No credit card required to start.
• Monthly Subscription: €5.99 per month (prices may vary by region). Auto-renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Annual Subscription: €34.99 per year (prices may vary by region). Auto-renews annually unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Lifetime Purchase: €69.99 one-time payment (prices may vary by region). A non-consumable in-app purchase providing perpetual access to all App features with no recurring charges. Includes all future feature updates to the App.

Build Forward does not process payments directly. All billing is handled by Apple under Apple's Terms and Conditions. To manage or cancel a subscription, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.

Refunds

All purchases are subject to Apple's standard refund policy. Build Forward does not issue refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices with notice. Price changes will take effect at your next renewal and you will be notified in advance by Apple.

5. Access and Termination

Your access to paid features continues for the duration of your active subscription or, for Lifetime purchasers, indefinitely. We reserve the right to discontinue the App with reasonable notice. In the event of App discontinuation, Lifetime purchasers will not be entitled to a refund beyond Apple's standard refund policy, but will retain access for as long as the App remains available.

6. Data Accuracy

Market prices displayed in the App are sourced from third-party APIs (Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, Frankfurter). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Asset valuations are estimates only. Historical data may be incomplete or subject to retroactive corrections by the data provider.

7. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into the App. Build Forward is not responsible for decisions made based on information displayed in the App, including but not limited to investment decisions, tax filings, or financial planning.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; attempt to extract the App's source code; use the App for any unlawful purpose; or circumvent any security or access control features of the App.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its name, design, code, graphics, and all content, is the exclusive property of Build Forward and is protected by Irish and international intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

10. Apple's Standard EULA

Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated herein by reference. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the App, and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims). You acknowledge that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Build Forward shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any statutory rights or guarantees that, as a consumer, you are entitled to and that cannot be excluded or limited under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will endeavour to provide notice within the App.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
