Peptide Plus ("the App") is a personal health tracking application for GLP-1 medication users. Your privacy is fundamental to how we built this app. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not require an account.
This policy explains what data is collected, why, and your rights as a user — including your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The following data is entered by you and stored locally on your device and/or synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit:
Legal basis (GDPR): Consent — you choose to enter this data to use the app's features.
This data is stored in your iCloud account. We have no access to it. It is never sent to our servers and is not visible to us.
With your permission, the App reads and writes health data (weight, nutrition, hydration) to Apple HealthKit. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and remains on your device and iCloud. We never access your HealthKit data from our servers.
Legal basis (GDPR): Explicit consent — you grant HealthKit permission within the app.
When you use the AI meal scan feature, your meal photo and a text prompt describing the request are sent to:

Data minimisation: Only the meal photo and request context are sent. No personal health history, medication details, or identifying information are included in these requests.
You can use all other app features without ever using AI meal scanning.
Scan credit packs and tips are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We receive confirmation of a purchase (transaction ID and product ID) from Apple's servers to credit your account. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple's privacy policy governs payment processing.
We store a server-side credit balance (linked to an anonymous device ID) in Cloudflare KV for as long as you have unused credits. This balance contains no personal information.
Legal basis (GDPR): Contract — necessary to fulfil your purchase and deliver the credits you bought.

We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.
Peptide Plus is a personal tracking tool and is not a medical device. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor or healthcare provider before making changes to your medication or treatment plan. AI meal analysis is informational only and does not constitute dietary advice.
Scan Credit Packs are consumable purchases. Credits are linked to your device and do not expire. They are non-refundable once purchased, in accordance with Apple's standard App Store policies. If you experience a technical issue where credits were purchased but not received, contact support@buildforward.eu within 30 days.
Tips are voluntary, non-refundable donations with no functional benefit attached. They do not unlock features.
Legacy subscriptions (monthly/annual) are no longer sold. Existing subscribers retain their entitlement for the duration of their subscription period.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. AI scanning depends on third-party services (Anthropic) which may experience downtime. No refunds are issued for temporary service unavailability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildForward is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Romania, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
